However, there is a limit to the things we can do to it. Too much hair grooming can become counterproductive. Wearing tight hairstyles While there are different ways we could lose our hair, the simplest method is to wear tight ponytails on a regular basis. Ponytails inflict too much traction on the hair follicles, resulting in folliculitis, which in turn causes spot baldness. Cornrows, tight chignons, and dreadlocks may also cause hair loss.
